Ruth's Cream Puffs

"These homemade cream puffs were always eaten has fast as they were served"
Ingredients-Filling
  1. 1 CUP MILK
  2. 5 TABLE SPOONS FLOUR
  3. MIX 1/2 CUP CRISCO
  4. 1/2 CUP MARGARINE
  5. 1 CUP SUGAR
  6. A DASH OF SALT
Preperation-Filling
  1. mix milk and flour cook until a thick paste
  2. remove and let cool
  3. mix crisco, margerine,sugar and salt until creamy
  4. add teaspoon of vanilla
  5. combine both mixtures and beat until fluffy
  6. refrigerate overnight
Ingredients-Pastery
  1. 1/2 Cup Shortening
  2. 1/8 tsp salt
  3. 1 cup sifted flour
  4. 4 eggs
  5. 1 cup water
Preperation-Pastery
  1. cream shortening and salt in 1 cup boiling water
  2. bring to boil again, reduce heat and add flour
  3. stir vigorously until mixture clings to a spoon and leaves pan free.
  4. remove from and add 4 eggs one at a time, beating until shiny
  5. put 1 tblsp per puff on an ungreased cookie sheet
  6. bake 20min. at 450 degrees then 20min. at 350 degrees
  7. cool and fill

Keep pastery and filling seperate until serving
