Lakin/Thompson Recipes

Ingredients

1. 2 1/2 lbs Rolled Roast cut up in 1" cubes
2. 2 clove garlic 1/2 chopped green pepper
3. 3 table spoon oil 1/2 chopped onion
4. 1 1/2 cups water 2 can stewed tomatoes
5. 2 tsp. oregano squirt of mustard
6. 1 tsp. brown sugar 1 4oz diced green chilies
7. 1 8oz can tomato sauce 1/2 cup wine
8. 3 tablespoons parsley/cilantro
9. 1/4 tsp. Basil 8 beef bullion cubes
10. 2 table spoons chili powder
11. 1 bay leaf
12. 1 tsp. cumin
13. 1 can jalapeno beans

Preparation

1. Brown meat, onion, oil, and garlic
2. Add other ingredients bring to a boil and simmer 30 min.
3. Serve with corn bread

Notes

Optional: Top with grated cheese and diced green onions.
