"A treat from Esther "
  1. ½ cup unsalted butter (softened)
  2. ¾ cup packed brown sugar
  3. 1 cup all purpose flour
  4. 1 can (14 oz.) sweetened condensed milk
  5. 1 tsp vanilla extract
  6. ½ cup miniature semi-sweet chocolate chips
  7. ½ cup chopped walnuts
  8. 1 ½ lbs semisweet chocolate candy coating, chopped
  1. In a mixing bowl, cream the butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Add the flour , milk and vanilla and mix well.
  2. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts
  3. Shape into 1 inch balls and place on waxed paper lined baking dish.
  4. Loosely cover and refrigerate 1-2 hours until firm.
  5. In microwave (or double boiler)safe bowl , melt candy coating, stirring often until smooth.
  6. Dip balls in coating; place on wax paper-lined baking sheet.
  7. Refrigerate until firm. About 15 minutes.
  8. Drizzle over candy to mark. Store in refrigerator.
