15 Bean Soup with Ham
"We use the leftover ham bone from Easter"
- Ingredients

- 1 bag 15 bean soup
- Leftover ham bone / ham (or 1 meaty ham shank) - Approx. 2lbs
- 1 small can green chilis
- 1 celery stalk (diced)
- 1 small onion (diced)
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1/2 tsp chili powder
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup salsa
- 1-2 cup chicken stock
- Salt to taste
- Ingredients

- Add beans to pot of water and boil for 1 1/2 - 2 hours (until tender).
- Add all of the ingreidents and simmer covered for 2-3 hours.
