green chile cheese appetizer
- Ingredients

- 1 cube of butter (softened not melted!)
- 1 cup shredded jack cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1 large can diced green chiles
- 2 baguettes (thin french bread)
- Preparation

- Mix green chiles and butter well and set aside
- Mix mayonnaise and cheese well (add more mayo if needed to get a spreadable mixture
- Slice bread 1 to 1 1/2 inches thick
- Put bread on cookie pan
- Spread each top with cheese/mayo mixture
- Repeat with chile/butter mixture
- Heat until cheese melts
- Best served warm
Notes
Heat just before serving for best results
